It’s back! Like all good things that come in threes, our annual Holy Thursday Father Ted Quiz and Lovely Girls Competition is back for it’s third year! So go on, go on, go on…grab your friends, your colleagues, your boyfriend, your granny and your cat, and come along to DTwo on Thursday March 29th. The night will be hosted by the one and only Patrick McDonnell, aka Eoin McLove, who will be sure to make a holy show of you if you’re not down with this sort of thing.

The quiz will feature themed rounds based on trivia from the show as well as a brief interlude for our fabulous equal opportunities Lovely Girls Competition. There will be prizes galore for the best dressed priest, nun or hairy baby.
It’ll be mad Ted.

Tickets will be on sale here from 6am on Thursday February 1st!

WedFest 2018 is an alternative wedding festival, focused on celebrating the individuality of couples and highlighting the number of options available to couples who don’t want to go down the entirely traditional route for their wedding. The aim of the event is to help couples to plan the day they really want, that reflects their personalities, their tastes and their story, in THEIR way.

The event will comprise exhibition areas covering different elements of wedding preparations:
Photography, Stationery, Dressing, Flowers, Male & Female Beauty/Grooming, Clothing, Jewellery, Accessories, Bands, Performers, DJs, Artists and all things edible and drinkable! There will also be performance and demonstration elements throughout the day.

This will be the second year of the event. In year one we had 30 vendors and almost 500 attendees, in The Chocolate Factory, Dublin 1. The 2018 event will be even bigger and better, with two dates and two locations – Belvedere House in Dublin 1 on November 3rd and St Peter’s in Cork on November 10th.

Wellington Weekender Craft Fair, Jun 25th 2016

The Wellington Weekender Craft Fair was part of the annual Wellington Weekender festival in The Workman’s Club. This was the fourth year of the festival. Green Shoes managed the craft fair element from recruiting stall holders to setting up and managing the fair on the day.
